Pls anybody can tell me which is the best insurance company in new york new jersey and connecticut to sell commerical insurance, business policy, workers compensation etc which company do best underwriting. which is the best company in this state. Pls let me know..
"best" is a relative term... are you looking for price, quick claims payment, long time in business, ratio of debt to assets, or what? get quotes from an insurance broker...they sell for many company's and will find you the best deal and they are working for you. Explain what you want that would make the company the "best" and go from there.

Legal. Can anyone help me out. I would like to get started ASAP. Thank-you.
There are 2 places to go to find out. One would be to go to the local courthouse and check at the information desk. Another would be to go to the CT official state website and click the business link.

Are Insurance companies aloud to give your name to their client that hit your car?

I got backed into and it seems that the guy that backed into me knows everything about me. I thought that the questions I answered were confidential. I live in Connecticut, I don't know if it's different for each state. I am really angry that this man knows where I go to the Dr. now. That is scary that he knows this and more about me. I don't think it's any of his business and that nobody should have told him, unless he stole th einformation when nobody was looking. I don't know. Thanks in advance.
Well, Charra, I don't know for sure, but the same thing happened to me. I was involved in an accident, my fault, and a few days later, they found out everything about me. My school, name, age, almost everything! They sued my insurance, claiming that I caused neck pain. Luckily i had full insurance. So, I'm guessing that their insurance gave them my information somehow.

US Payrolls Hemorrhage Is Likely to Persist After 2008 Drop
09.01.09
Jan. 10 (Bloomberg) -- The hemorrhaging of the U.S. job
market looks likely to persist into the new year after employers
slashed payrolls in 2008 by the most since 1945, increasing
pressure on President-elect Barack Obama to stanch the decline. The nation lost 524,000 jobs in December, bringing the
total drop for last year to 2.589 million, just shy of the 2.75
million decline at the end of World War II, the Labor Department
reported yesterday in Washington. The unemployment rate climbed
to 7.2 percent, the highest level in almost 16 years. “The labor market has deteriorated sharply, and it’s
telling us the economy is exceptionally weak right now,’ said Jim O’Sullivan , senior economist at UBS Securities LLC in
Stamford, Connecticut. “The first quarter will be pretty rough
again, with big declines in payrolls and higher unemployment.” Obama, who takes office on Jan. 20, urged lawmakers on Jan.
8 to pass his economic recovery program “in the next few
weeks,” warning that “if nothing is done, this recession could
linger for years.” His plan, which has met with mixed reception
in Congress, may exceed $775 billion and aims to save or create
3 million jobs.
