where can i find general liability insurance for home inspectors?

i am currently getting my license to be a home inspector in Arkansas and the state requires that home inspectors carry a general liability policy of $100,000. My own insurance company does not do these kind of policies.
You need to find a local, independent agent who can shop this out for you. You're not likely to find a carrier willing to write a $100,000 limit. Or rather, they will, but they'll charge the same premium as a $1,000,000 limit. NOBODY carries $100K any more. No business will let you work for them with a limit that low.
Expect it to cost you around $1200.
You didn't ask, but, btw, an agent who's not willing and/or able to meet SOME of your insurance needs, probably isn't the right agent for ANY of your insurance needs.

That's terrible. I don't live in Arkansas so I can't help you out. Maybe setup a website to collect donations?

By Chris Durden and Kim Hynes (WICHITA, Kan.) Hundreds of homeowners may have to buy flood insurance. Wichita and Sedgwick County will miss a February deadline to certify levees that make up the Big Ditch. After Hurricane Katrina FEMA increased levee standards. The Federal Emergency Management Agency gave Wichita and Sedgwick County two years to inspect and correct levee problems in order to get re-certified. County Commissioner Dave Unruh says they've been working on the project but says there wasn't enough time or money to get the job done. There are four areas the city and county know are compromised. Flood walls aren't tall enough under the Broadway bridge near Broadway and 49th Street in Park City. Tree stumps and roots are causing problems at the other three locations. They include levees near 46th and Salina, 63rd and Grove and 37th and Washington. Unruh says they will fix the levees and avoid the increased insurance. He says although they're missing next months deadline, FEMA still has to draw new flood maps. He says that takes 18-24 months. Unruh says he's confident the job will get done.
