Auto Insurance Coverage Arizona AZ
Reader’s Question:
I have auto insurance in the state of Arizona. I’m planning to go to another place to have my long overdue and much-needed vacation. If I go to another state, let’s say in San Francisco, California or in Reno, Nevada and met a vehicular accident, will I still be covered by my Arizona car insurance? Or I don’t have anything to back me up at all?

I hope you do enjoy your vacation Rose without any vehicular accidents at all. But just to answer your question, yes your Arizona auto insurance will still cover you in an event that you are involved in a car accident. So that means, something will back you up.
In general, your own car insurance policy will provide you with the basic auto insurance coverage in the state that you are visiting. So in your case, since you will be visiting the states of California and Nevada, whatever are the minimum required limits for auto insurance by those states will be automatically covered by your car insurance policy.

What is a cheap car insurance company in Arizona?

I'm looking to find a cheap insurance company to insure my car in Arizona. I was paying 116 a month for it at the general and I was wondering if anyone knew of a cheaper place.
I know 2 people who got a lower rate with Geico.

I'm considering switching from my State Farm to Geico car insurance. I've heard some people have had good results from them but I need to hear if anyone has had any bad situations when they needed Geico. Please respond only if you had negative results. thank you!
My advice to you, leave Geico alone. Im with state farm and have no intention of leaving them, They have give me 100% satisifactory service when I needed them, now back to Geico, let the seriously stupid radio and TV commercials tell you what kind of company they are. They say that over 10,000 drivers change to them every day, what they dont tell you is that they probably drop 10,000 every day. Just stay away from them, they are a serious JOKE ! ! !

she pays payments to the insurance company in Arizona does California law accept Az. Insurance? or only California Insurance?
She should contact her insurance company, to be sure. On at least a temporary basis, she'll be covered (CA law requires a minimum Liability insurance).
Much of the time, your insurance costs are based on how far you drive to work, how many accidents happen annually in the area around you, etc. If she doesn't register her new info with the insurance company, she's likely to end up having trouble with them, as opposed to the state. They may not cover her here in CA if she doesn't update her records.
It should be a simple matter of updating the existing policy.

I hope this page gets bumped to the top of google for Arizona Speed Cameras and Arizona Speed Traps and other such phrases as fraud and fraud and fraud. There. That will help your rankings. Arizona has already become the laughing stock of California, on this issue. I spent the last week there, and no less than 3 random conversations arose from people talkinga bout Arizona highway robbery with all the camera speed traps. The 101 is nothing compared to the 10 coming east, into town from LA. They’ve got cameras set up every 3 miles now for nearly the entire length of it. I must have counted at least 10 speed camera traps before I even hit the airport area. As you drive all you see is the flash going off, over, and over, and over. Each one of those flashes equals a $200 ticket. I am 34 years old and have been rewarded as an “excellent driver” by my insurance company. I haven’t had a ticket in over 14 years, since college. In the 6 months I have lived in Phoenix, I have received no less than THREE TICKETS. The results were devastating. Aside from the $600 in tickets, I was subsequently labeled a “bad driver” by my insurance company and was forceably dropped after being with them for 8 years. I was forced to get a new insurance company and my rates have gone from $75 a month up to $360 a month, for ONE CAR. I am just one person, and these cameras have cost me over $4,000.
